As most people on this site have mentioned, the complex has 1 option for internet. when I moved into the place I had verizon come out to install phone and DSL. after they had installed the phone line they informed me that they did not have the equipment installed for dsl, and that i was just getting a phone line... for $55 a month. I cancelled that and reluctantly ordered the internet from netrisen that is pre-wired in the buildings. it is consistent, I'll give it that but consistent at 92kbps downloads isnt what I'd call good internet. dial up is almost faster.
There has been ongoing construction since I've been here. although the windows are double-paned and the noise isnt a big issue, the propery is a mess because of these "improvements." This month we have notice that the water will be turned off for 5 days with the only bathrooms and showers available between 9-5 are in a different building. Another "improvement" that is a major inconvenience. FYI after the water was turned back on it was more like a scene out of a bad horror movie than an acceptable shower.
It is close to a lot of good restaurants, but plan on walking if you're going anywhere. The traffic is absolutely insane and parking is a nightmare. get some good shoes.
The wonderful view they advertise is a bit of a joke. Most of the apartments either overlook another building or apartments in the same complex. The apartments themselves are nice, although they resemble an extended stay america more than a modern apartment. the bathroom is very nice.
Not worth the money and the way they have "specials." if you want to cancel your lease they include a provision for "concessions taken" and usually thats about 4-5k. pretty sizable hit.

YES! And the 'improvements' are cosmetic, yet they won't fork out cash to fix a broken elevator and a broken alarm box. The first floor alarm box in building two goes off all day long and into the night. There is no excuse for that. Rather than use the money to change out what was already really nice landscaping, they should put it into fixing what's wrong. Yet I'm sure we'll be paying for these cosmetic improvements in our rent increase which I hear they raise a ridiculous amount!

Has anyone else experienced long wait times to get hot water flowing since the 'improvements' last week? I find I have to wait at least 2 minutes to get hot water flowing in sink, washroom basin and bathtubs. This isn't a long time generally EXCEPT for the fact that perfectly good water is running out my tap while I wait for it to get hot not to mention this will no doubt reflect in a higher utilities bill at the end which WE pay for and not management. Anyone else experiencing this "Improvement"?
