We moved in a little over a year ago because the apartment was nice sized compared to others we looked at and it seemed like the management was in the process of sprucing up the place. Since then we have had to call the police about once a month for noise disturbances in the middle of the night (crazy crackheads out and about at 2 in the morning), people peeing in the elevator, blowing pot smoke into other apartments, people who play their bass so loud I thought we were having earthquakes that first week. Oh, and it's not as cheap as it sounds. There is about $95 in utilities every month on top of rent. All utilities are combined then split between the units (water, garbage, gas, electric, etc...) I can't wait for our lease to be up so we can move away from this disaster.
