Great apartment - I've lived here for the last 3 years and am only leaving to find a place of my own. I've had a wonderful time here. The apartment I'm in was recently upgraded and has brand new appliances. We had a problem wiht our fridge and they replace it within days. The pool and grounds are kept very well and the entire building was recently painted. We haven't had many issues, but any ...Full review of Seven Oaks Apartments

awesome building manager - we've lived here for three years and really like it. yes, it's apartment living - and the wall-to-wall carpets leave something to be desired. but it's clean, safe, quiet, and the manager (lester) is super awesome. the units facing el camino i think are much worse; request one that faces the pool or the neighboring garden. great sized patios, friendly neighbors. and ...Full review of Atherton Park Forest Apartment

Sucky apartment - The noise problem at Menlo Oaks apartment is rather severe. The paper thin wall deprives you of any privacy. I can literally hear the tone of my neighbor's voice. The ceiling is so thin that I can pinpoint the location of my neighbor upstair just by the cracking noise generated when he / she steps on the wood floor. Noise from the pipes is also heard whenever you neighbor flush the toilet ...Full review of Menlo Oaks Apartments

Nice place to live but move out was kind of a bummer. - My roommate and I lived here in a 2bd/2ba apartment for about a year and half. We just moved out as they had raised the rent on us twice and it was just time for a change. (Rent started at $2125, then went to $2290, and was going up to $2470 when we left). Good location - walking distance to CalTrain and downtown Menlo Park, 2 pools, laundry onsite, ample parking. No bad ...Full review of Laurel Grove Apartments

The walls and floors are very thin and the place is very very noisy. Finally we got fed up and decided to move out. Management really plays hardball with your security deposit and if you really want it back
