I have a studio apartment at this complex. Yes, it is older, and yes, the kitchen doesn't look like it has been updated since it was built. There is no dishwasher and no air-conditioning. But despite these, I love it here. I have new carpeting, and fresh paint on the walls. The retro kitchen is full-sized and has lots of cabinetry. The bathroom has a great shower with plenty of hot water. The location is safe, and it has great views (see photo of starry view of Mt. Tam). It is nearly on hwy 101 (easy on, easy off) but still off-set back enough to make the freeway noise tolerable and local street traffic minimal. I rarely detect noise from the neighboring apartments. There is a grocery, coffee shop, restaurants, and other conveniences within walking distance. When you compare rents with other local apartments, it really is hard to beat.
