Homecoming at Eastvale

Overall it it a good place to live. My problem is with the pests. I guess being across from an open field does not help. We have spiders, pincher bugs and silver fish up the wahoo. I do believe they are all about the money. Had a problem recently that was their fault but I got penalized.

It's true that the smell from the manure will hit you when you first drive in. THat's to be expected since there are dairy farms in the area. An earlier poster mentioned a mobile home park. I believe the poster was trying to convey that this was a run down low class neighborhood. FIrstly the mobile home park is Swan Lake and it's gated. The mobile homes in that park are selling for $150,000 which I thought was staggering. It's not walking distance from the Homestead. The neighborhood is actually up and coming with many brand new homes for sale. I think Homestead is the only apartment complex in the area. It's close to the Eastvale shopping center. As for the homestead itself, it's a breathtaking property. THe clubhouse has a 24 gym, cyber cafe, gourmet catering community kitchen. WOW! I saw three different floor plans. The kessler (?) was a villa with a large patio. The Bennington was very nice. The prices are a bit high for Mira Loma and the school district Jurupa is not that great, however the property is very well kept. There is a rose garden, meditation garden and three pools. It's very quiet. I didn't see kids and people running around. The gate was closed. In some complexes the gates are open when the leasing office is open .. which I think defeats the purpose. However the leasing office is outside the gate. I would recommend living here. However if you have kids just know the basic API scores are in the mid 600's.
