I lives at this apartment complex for aprox 1 year. The management is horrible. They are nosey and they question the neighbors about the tenants. When my lease ran out they failed to refund my security deposit. The reason that they stated was that when my lease was up they signed a new on with my roomates and transferred the deposit over to a new lease that I was not on. I am in the process of fighting it through the fair housing council and taking it to small claims court. It states no where in my lease this was policy, I was given a verbal by the apartment manager that this was policy. They refused to fax me anything in writing. This is a Section 8 complex. They will lose their contract with Orange County Department of Fair Housing, if someone else lives in that apartment. They have every single shred of your financial information, and they think it is their right to snoop on every single thing you do. Some persons, almost 40 percent when I was living there, were only paying about $300.00 per month rent out of their own pocket, and the rest almost $1,000.00 was picked up by federal housing. If they signed a new, singular lease with your roomate, knowing full well it took two signatures for two people to lease, they are fraudulent.
