NEGATIVES:
1.Not enough parking spots. Forget about having guests come over, unless of course they're willing to park a block away and walk to your place.

2.VERY thin walls. You can hear the pipes loud and clear in the walls of your apt. whenever your neighbors run water. Forget about an alarm clock. You'll wake up every day during your neighbor's early morning shower. If you're lucky your rising time will be earlier than theirs.

3.Exercise room is more like a walk-in closet with no AC. The treadmill, bicycle and weight machine look like scraps from a garage sale.

4.If you're a non-smoker, you'd better hope that your neighbors don't smoke because the smell will enter and permeate your apt. through open windows.

5.Flakey office staff. They provide inaccurate information and always seem to take extra long lunch breaks. The office decor and staff seem like they're still living in the '70s/'80s.

6.Pool area reminds me of something that would be found at some motel off a busy interstate, which is not a good thing.

POSITIVES:
1.Price is good for a decently sized apt.(704 sq.ft.) with a fireplace, vaulted ceiling, large kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dishwasher.

2.Small shopping center with eateries, Starbucks, banks and a good bakery is within walking distance.

3.Maintenance staff is friendly and does reasonably good work.

4.Plenty of washers and dryers located in the apt.complex.

Just so that you know. This is a Section 8 complex, and some people are only paying around $300.00 per month out of their pocket for these apartments. The rest is provided by the Orange County Department of Fair Housing with federal funds. That's right, some people get their rent paid for them up to almost $1,000.00. And, it is no longer for your mom on social security, or the disabled, and you don't even have to be an American Citizen, either? How is that Are their still lots of foreigners there, with low-paying jobs, and you wonder how they afford the place??? It was decided way back, by our federal government, that it was discriminatory to keep non-citizens from getting federally funded housing. Not too many persons know that. June and Rita are keeping the biggest truth from you, and they don't want you to know this is Section 8. June Miller sounds like an absolute hick when you talk to her. She mispronounces words. Rita is just mean, and had a black wig for every day. She knew she was a witch and dressed like one. You, the tenet, are just a prop in their script and sundries for the costume party. As for the long lunch breaks, I think that they are in meetings deciding who they can raise the rent on next, discussing every single tenent who lives there, who is the Schmuck they can raise the rent on next, so they can get the next highest allowable voucher from the Department of Fair Housing. They are smug and rude, because they know how much they have you over a barrel, and they are not ethical, and the power makes them rude. There are some complexes totally Section 8, and identify themselves. This place is so crappy, the few cash payers, who don't want to drive on those freeways, and who are only happy with shopping amenities you suggest, may find this good, because of the length of time it takes to get to work. But, the place is dirty from the outside, the minute you jump into the pool, June Miller literally comes running out to see who is in it. But, they know the place just does not appeal to the upscale professional worker, so to keep things going, and get the property ready for the owners to bail out of their Section 8 contract in the future, and maybe even sell the property to someone who will tear it down, they need a few cash paying people with the wool pulled over their eyes.
