I'm sure that most of the complaints in here are written by stupid whiney spoiled Orange County brats. When you live at an apartment community, there are things to expect. Like living in close proximity to other people. DUH. I'm sure most of you who complain just sold your 1.5 million dollar home and are in an apartment until you can figure out where to buy next. Here are some tips for you:
1. Dogs ----. Thats what they do. Management is not responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Thats your job. But, since you are all lazy self-involved people, you don't. And that is why there is a problem with tenants being irresponsible and expecting management to control people. Maybe you should talk to your neighbors about cleaning up after their own pet.
2. Its an apartment, not a house. You live near people. If this is something you cannot accept, don't move to an apartment. You will hear people and you will have to see another human being on a regular basis.
3. You are renting the apartment, not buying it. Don't sit there and whine to me about my music being too loud on a Saturday at 3:00pm and tell me how much rent you pay.
4. You are responsible for your own safety. Enough said.
5. You are not the only person in the universe.
I have lived at Camden Crown Valley for the past 2 years. This is the cleanest community I have lived at and I was annoyed when I stumbled on this website and found all of your negative reviews. I know that the management works very hard to make people happy, but when it comes down to it, they can't control grown adults. I actually can't believe that they show up there in the office every day because I have been in the office when they were being full on yelled at by someone because THEY DIDN'T PAY THEIR RENT. Well, if the office staff is reading this, you're doing a great job, keep it up, and don't let the little brats that live here get to you. Its not your fault that they haven't learned personal responsibility.

I think you are totally correct in everything you just said..the only thing i have a complaint about is the apartment below me playing there music at 1 am on a tuesday but that was taken care of because i apparently wasnt the only one upset... other than that i love it here and couldnt ask for a better complex |

I think that you are probably one of the inconsiderate jerks that stomps around, bangs stuff around, slams their door, and turns their tv/stereo up way too loud--among other things. Yes, it's an apartment and you're going to hear your neighbors but is it so much to ask that people be considerate of eachother? When you're stomping around, or banging things against the wall, or have your stereo up too loud you can hear that your neighbors can hear everything you're doing, or are you that stupid? You think it's ok to play your stereo really loud so that all your neighbors can hear it on a saturday afternoon? What about the guy under, or next to you that has to get up in a few hours for his graveyard shift? Or what about the baby that had been up all night and just got to sleep and your crappy ass music woke them up? It's people like you that make apartment living un-bearable. It sounds to me like YOU'RE the OC snob who thinks that their the only one in the universe and can do whatever they please. |

Thank you, I completely agree with your post! Camden is the best place by a long shot compared to most. Even I had some problems, but that's because I'm surrounded by OTHER PEOPLE. The management at Camden CV is fantastic.

First off, if you have children, apartment living is NOT for you. Especially if you have a lot of expectations for an apartment home. They were made for young people, students and old retirees. You need to get a house. Second off this post sounds all high and mighty. A lot of the good reviews in here use the term "whiner" which doesn't really make it sound like a multiple people reviewing.
My suggeestion? If you're "allergic" to smoke, you need a house. If you've got a baby that can't sleep through noise, you need a house. If you think that rent is like mortgage? You're absolutely wrong.
It is ok to play music on a Saturday afternoon. So long as its not late at night. The rental agreement says no noise after ten. If you have a valid complaint, please post it here desertgrl. If not, go get a house. I'm from Chicago. I pride myself on being real...something you're going to have to face is if you can't afford a house, get used to living with other people. Your baby crying isn't the best noise either but we listen to it and sometimes drone it out with the music. Stop complaining about stupid crap.
