My husband and I moved to Madrid 6 months ago and we love it. The pool and exercise room are adequate, nothing fancy, but they work and are well maintained. Madrid has a great tot lot that is safe, well maintained, and cleaned regularly. Also they have sawdust instead of sand so you don't have to worry about your little one finding a present from a stray cat.

The maintenance staff is wonderful and knowledgeable (and they speak English).

Our apartment is quiet, and well laid out. We live in the smallest unit Madrid has, but honestly I feel like it has more space then other larger apartments that we have live in before. It is evident Madrid apartments are designed to have a maximum amount of usable space, which makes all the difference with apartment living. The construction of Madrid is solid, it is the best built apartment complex we have lived in.

All of the utilities are separate, which is nice, because you are only paying for the amount you use. There is always plenty of parking and management is great about enforcing the parking policy.

Also the management has special events several time a month. All of which are family focused, fun, and are completely worth attending.

The rent is comparable with most apartment complexes in Orange County, your not going to find anything less then about $1200 if you want safe, clean, well maintained and a good location.

Madrid has a great pet policy. They only required one flat cat deposit for our two kitties, and there is no monthly fee for cats.

Lastly there is a park in walking distance, it is across the street, but the entrance is located about 2 or 3 blocks down Margarite on the right. My hubby and I ride our bikes there and it only takes about 7 minutes.
