Decent Apartments, but Bad Location/Ugly Grounds

The apartments are fairly nice and have modern amenities (programmable thermostat, W&D hookups, microwave oven). But the location is horrible. Out in the middle of nowhere boring-as-can-be Mission Viejo. The complex is literally right next to the foothill toll road...you can see the tops of trucks go by over the roofs of the buildings that face the freeway, and you can hear the traffic whooshing by all night long. Also the buildings are packed together pretty tight, so when you look out your window you'll just be staring into someone else's window. In general it looks more like an army barracks than an apartment complex.
Staff is OK, but they did absolutely nothing about my upstairs neighbors who were playing video games on their home theater system so loud that the walls were vibrating.
