I lived at the Promenade 1 1/2 years. While there, I enjoyed my apartment, when it was working...and when my car wasn't towed, and when my oven door didn't fall off. I'll have to say for an old community, it was kept up OK but not good. I also enjoyed swimming with human feces on the edge of the pool. Mostly I enjoyed (aside from the rats) the office staff. A very unprofessional management, and a very VERY rude leasing agent (Sharri). If you ever go in the office, she is usually busy...ignoring you....and when she does finally address you, she will usually pass your issue onto the next leasing agent, and THEY are most of the time helpful. I would not recommend this community unless you are a poor college student whose parents pay the rent while you temporarily live in hell to support yourself on nothing until you have a degree to get yourself into the real world. Plus there are about 20 -------- per apartment...that was the best part. On a side note I moved to a new community (Barcelona) and saw a huge improvement in apartment living compared to the Promenade.
