The person who wrote the previous review is either a liar, or she works there. This place is still complete joke. There is a new parking policy with a new towing company, and it goes a little something like this...
If somebody happens to park in your parking space, they request that you leave a note on the violating car before you call the towing company. If they still haven't moved their car, you can contact the towing company, but you will need to have a copy of your lease showing your parking space, and also sign off for the tow. This idea sucks butt, and here is why.
Anyone who has ever come home from work or school after 10 o'clock p.m knows there is never any parking in the place, and the tow trucks are always stalking the place. So if somebody parks in my spot I'm either supposed to park at the mall(where there are tow signs), wait for the person who parked in my spot to see the note I left. I could also take a late night drive, and hope the person is no longer there when I get back, or luckily find an empty guest spot.
If I happen to go back to get the towing company number, and my lease from my home, where can I park my car'
If I park it in a red zone , or in front of other parked cars, the towing company will swoop by and tow my car. Furthermore, who is going to want to wait around to sign off for a car that isn't even yours, and possibly face some kind of legal reprecussions.
I don't think the people running the Promenade are idiots. I think they are pretty smart, because they are using intimidation to keep people from speaking up. The walk to the mall, and starbucks is great is you like traipsing through beer bottles, and trash. Hey, at least the fountain is kept up!!!
