I lived in these apartments for all of 7 months and I can gladly say that I have never been happier to have moved out! The biggest problem that I had was the noise. In the past 2 months we had new tenants move in next to and below us. Both groups were college students. I myself am a college student and can understand that there are most likely going to be parties on weekends when the apartments I am living in are right next to a college campus. However, I cannot understand why there were parties directly below me (outside on the patio) until 4am on weekdays (multiple times a week)! Yes, the management does have a noise disturbance line that we can call. I called this number twice and NOTHING was done. In addition I had the police come out on three seperate occasions for disturbance of the peace and yet the management tells me that they cannot evict them!'! Apparently it is very difficult to evict someone for a nuicence (aka disturbing the peace).

I had believed that the property manager (Monique) was being very gracious in allowing my roommate and I to get out of our lease a half a month early. We could not stand the noise any longer and she seemed to be very understanding. HOWEVER, today I recieved a notice in the mail that not only did they take our security deposit of $750 but that we owe them an additional $800 becuase they pulled out our carpets! Haven't they heard of traditional wear and tear!'! Yes, we had a couple stains...nothing major that couldn't be solved with a profesional carpet cleaning. Not only that, but they stated that part of our cleaning fee (they tacked on an additional $75) included a dripping kitchen sink (it wasn't when we left), a missing guest bathroom rod (Maybe they will find that with our carpet...cause it was there when we moved out) and missing shelves in the medicne cabinet (we never had any to begin with!).

In my opinion, the Promenade Apartments are run by crooks that could care less about the tenents and only care about the cash flow into their pockets. I would never recommend this place and hope that this review will help people steer clear.
