I have lived here from February 2008. When I reported a rat indecent finally after one was on my bed and was scratching at me, they stated I was not the first to report rats and said they would send the exterminator on Thursday, (their usual day to be at the apartments). The exterminator put two glue traps down. However, the rats were not attracted to the traps. I finally got the management to do something more aggressive after I went into the office when a perspective resident was checking out the apartment complex and stated really loud that I still had rats. They whisked me into the back room and they called the exterminator he was here in about 1/2 hour to put larger traps down. Since then I have caught an average of 2 rats a week since. Clearly the problem was not taken care of. I came home on Sunday night to find blood from a dead rat that worked his way out of the trap, all over my dressing area I have photos. Monday I called the County Health Department and reported this complex.
Other problems: Pool and spa are always dirty or broken unable to use.
Guest parking is only existent if you park before 4:00 pm.
When I signed the lease I was told they would give me all new appliances. It is now a year later, and they replaced my stove only after I complained that it didn't work. It was 4 days, before I was able to cook a meal in my apartment. They replace it with one that was NOT NEW and not from another apartment in worse shape than the one I had. The self-cleaning functionality of the oven is unable to be used, because the mechanism is broken.

OMG!! I am so sorry! I had the same problem when I lived there 2 years ago lol. Those apartments are a joke. I caught a total of 8 mice in my apartment and they were all over my room too. I also had termites on my balcony and my apartment was broken in to. Good for you for reporting those apartments, hopefully they will go out of business soon. I currently live in Rancho Santa Margarita at Cortesia apartments they are the best I have ever lived in. I haven't had one mouse or one ant since I moved in. The management is amazing and maintenance always comes out within 24 hours. Now I dont know what your price range is, my apartment is now $1364 for a 617sq.ft one bedroom but its worth it. If you would like for me to give some info, let me know. I will check back on here later
