When my husband and I were looking for an apartment we were looking for reasonably cheap...well that's what we got. When we moved in, our apartment had water damage that was just slathered with putty to cover it up. The bathroom was disgusting and the apartment had and overall musty smell. My stove was broken for over 6 months after I put in a written request for a new one and we surprisingly got one one day when the entered our apartment without our knowledge. I refuse to do my laudry in the laundry rooms they provide because they are always flooded and the dryers mysteriously have the knob changed to "no heat" during it's cycle so you have to dry them 2 or 3 times. Oh and the RAT problem.... People try to poison them and you find them in the bottom of the pool along with broken beer bottles and whatever trash the other tenents are to lazy to put in the trash can 5 feet away. There have been numerous Slab- Leaks in the last 7 months and when the maintanence comes to fix it they have no reguard for your belongings, they just throw them aside since they want they want to hurry up and get the job done poorly. We have trash diggers who go through the already disgusting trash areas, and the managment will do nothing to stop this from happening. The management has also told us that we have people living in the trees and along the hillside, which neighbors of mine have witnessed. People walk their dogs around and let them do their business in front of your apartment without having the means to clean it up. The airconditioners suck. It is one VERY small unit in the livingroom that does not cool the bedroom at all. People park their boats in the one assigned space and fight for the supposed open spots all the while they have 3 or more cars. People let their kids run rampant in the carports while cars speed through them. I guess they've never heard of Samantha Runnion and her tragedy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING throught them ie. phones ringing, full blown fights, and the most annoying has the be the sounds coming from the extremly HAPPY couples. Those with children beware, unless you've already had the birds-and the bees talk with your little ones. My list could go on forever and I haven't been there that long. If you have any other options go to them... don't throw your money down the toilet moving into this management forsaken community.
