judging by the lack of correct spelling and grammar in most of the negative reviews, i think you need to consider the sources for these reports. if you want to live somewhere nicer and overpriced, move to laguna beach!

Not all of the negative reviews have spelling or grammar errors. You haven't lived here long enough to even have a review.

I lived there for 2 years. There were people going dumpster diving every morning before work. The bad thing was - they would have their kids help them. There was people smoking pot in the carports, not to mention the illegal aliens crammed into some of the apartments. Not a great place to walk late at night. And wait until the summer months when you try to use the pool. Unsupervised kids peeing in the pool, yelling and screaming is not relaxing. Thank goodness we moved to bigger/better for only a couple hundred dollars more.

Good for you! I have lived her for 4 years & think it's a great place to live. Why don't you just shut your mouth & get on with your life. You are probably pissed off because you were evicted or something. Grow up!

Saddleback Ranch is overpriced for what it offers. Every place in South County really places value in their maintenance staff, maintenance service, and updating their buildings, common areas, appliances and interiors. Hence, the high rents we are accustomed to paying. Recently, Saddleback Ranch commenced painting the exterior, which has been a very painstakingly slow process. Also, if you contemplate moving here, please visit this apartment complex during the day, weekend, and nights beforehand. Over the past ten years I have visited frequently because of family, and I never have moved here because of their experiences and my own while visiting. I have worked out at their gym (stifling hot in the summer). Swam in their pool...yikes! Recently, I was visiting family at the complex, as I do frequently, when I was cut off by some guy wearing a tie and collar shirt and glasses. He appeared to be latino and was driving a recent white two door Mercedez Benz model. Not only did he cut me off but he also flipped me off. Mind you I had my teenage daughter in the front seat, and my two toddlers in the back seat. Anyhow, some of the folks living here are quite dubious. Not to mention you have sex predators on property. I heard management was let go because she was clocking in at opening time then returning to her apartment to sleep in. Extremely unprofessional management with maintenance staff that is not necessarily trained or qualified. I have always thought that Saddleback Ranch was overpriced for what it offers. No washer and dryer hookups, no updates to interior of apartment, no garage, no upkeep to any of its common areas including pools, gym, and exteriors. Appliances, floors, bath fixtures are extremely antiquated, and dilapidated. And problems with maintenance are notorious. Most apartment complexes have 24-hr turn-around maintenance service. Customer satisfaction cards are delivered to tenants for honest review of services provided. This is what is expected from any apartment complex in Southern Orange County. Note: two bedrooms at Saddleback Ranch are $1645.00. I pay $1,890 for beautiful gated 10-year old apartment complex, two bedrooms, two full baths with actual washer and dryer, attached garage, great location, great school (Blue Ribbon) next door, premium businesses within walking distance, shopping down the street, heated pool all year round, jacuzzi, great well maintained gym (open 24-hours), well maintained grounds, updated interior apartments, community room, professional leasing and maintenance staff, free Sunday breakfast for everyone, and nice professional tenants.
