OK, First of all I can spell unlike most of the commenters posting here. I also speak English as I am a native white boy who grew up in Lake Forest in a middle class 2-story house.

Ever since I was young I can remember Hispanic people in this area, so it came as no surprise to me that "brown trash" as some people would heartlessly call them, live here with "white trash" such as myself. I live here because it is freaking super cheap and I ain't rich sucking off my parents like so many prideless rich white kids I know and grew up with. You know the ones where daddy buys them a car and a house'I am also not racist so it does not bother me seeing poor foreigners who live 5 people to an apartment. I live along the creek and have never seen a transient or "bum." Parking totally sucks here that is the honest truth. I have never had a problem with the staff b/c I pay my rent on time and don't complain about jack. I have never seen a rat, only one silver fish, and I don't have any critters living with me. I do have my girlfriend clean the place every week and I take out the trash almost daily. The size of the apartment and the creek location is what attracted me to this place. For the price there was no where else in south O.C. I could go. I have never seen any drug users in the garages, but as long as needles and children arent involved it aint my problem.

Yes, there are "trashy" people here because they lack the money to buy designer clothes and cars, and they are not overly concerned with how they look to the outside conservative stuck up world. Or at least OC. Or maybe they just can't afford nice things because Congress is too busy giving themselves raises every year to raise the minimum wage past $6.50 an hour. Try living on $6.50 an hour and guess what you'll live with 5 of your best friends in a one bedroom too. I'm very lucky that I can actually afford to live here on my own if I wanted to. But then again, I went and paid for my own degree.

There are also families who are just starting out, young couples living in sin and everything else Barbara Bush warned you about. I am living in sin myself and I must say so far it has its perks (that is a pun, get it')

I have a car that is worth over $12,000 used and it has never been broken into. I have an alarm and a gun for those of you who would like to try it though. Just kidding I dont have an alarm (hehehe). Actually thats not true.

Basically my only complaint is the parking. I could care less if the place were recently painted, or looks modern. I don't get much out of crap like that because I am a utilitarian, and I am cheap. That means if it has no direct use for me, I don't benefit and therefore I don't care. Why should I care if the place is done in an Italian style Roman Gecco' Go blow. Walk around a department store if you get off on that crap. You can't buy it, use it, or take it with you. Its worthless. Move to Irvine and pay $1800 for half the square footage and ask yourself what happened to your discretionary income. Pinch your pennies and save your money so that one day you can afford a home like your parents did before they had your spoiled butt.

In life as in apartment renting, you get what you pay for. So stop complaining, the owners are raking it in but who's gonna force them to to spend their retained earnings on modernizing this property' Vote with your pocketbooks. And clean your house if you have rats for crying out loud. And tell your dirty kids to stop pissing in the pool. Maybe some parental supervision would be nice, even if they are not your kids. Finally, remove about 16 of the 3000 speed bumps so I can get home at a decent hour.

Love ya,

Mr. Super Resident
