My apartment is getting destroyed by water from the upstairs unit as I type this message. I started leaving messages for the "Emergency Hotline", which stated that flooding was an emergency and that someone would be paged. I have waited an hour and still nothing.
The management staff is very courteous and friendly until the signing of the lease. After that, you get nothing but blank stares and unfullfilled promises of maintenance work. My unit lock has been damaged since I moved in, and to this date (6 months) has not been fixed. This is a serious issue.
Also, this is not a community for family, as Vista De Lago staff allow felons, drug dealers, and other shady individuals into their complex, resulting in Sheriff's and policeman on the complex at least twice a week.
DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOUR ONLY SOLUTION IS TO SLEEP UNDER A BRIDGE NEXT TO A BURING TRASH CAN FOR WARMTH!!!
