Very unhappy with Vista DEl Lago.They claim that we bounced a check which after checking with our bank found out that was not true. We are by no means rich but we're well off and have NEVER bounced a check before. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this and when I tried to give them a copy of the bank statment they refused to look at it. Anytime we try and get something fixed it takes at least three phone calls before anything is taken care of. We have been renting here for almost four years but this past year has been the worst. There was a shooting here but their defense is it was an "intended target" The police are constantly in this complex and many residents have been talking about moving out due to the crime level here which has sky rocketed!! There was also a registered sex offender living a couple doors down from us. We made the mistake of recommending our friends here who are just as fed up as we are.One last thing the air conditioning in our master bedroom has never worked because apparently there is a design flaw. Doesn't work in our friends apartment either.
