After living here for many years, I have experienced several different management personnel. Current manager is arrogant, unempathetic, and bias towards women, which I have personally witnessed on several occasions. Not to mention that management lies, as does maintenance staff.
Reasons to NOT move in Manchester Court Apartment Homes or any of Aspen Management properties:
1. Maintenance staff walks in after knocking/ringing door bell despite the fact that you maybe home and indecent (for example coming out of the shower or waking up to someone walking around in your house after working graveyard shift) due to maintenance that is not requested.
2. After maintenance has walked in on you more than once, office staff reports that they have every right to come in to perform regular maintenance.
3. Maintenance will report that they have completed work orders; however, after being home all day waiting for them, they never show up.
4. No security patrol. Maintenance had their own golf cart stolen during business hours while it was on the property; be concerned with your car being vandalized or property being stolen the day or night due to lack of security patrol. Be aware that the office has also been broken into, where vandals stole personal and sensitive information.
5. Management appears to have no control over renters who regularly play loud music at night.
6. People walking on the busy street of Standiford are allowed to walk around aimlessly around apartment complex. Don t be surprised to walk into dumpster area only to notice that someone is in the area or in the dumpster looking for items or cans as they do this pretty regularly.
7. Changes in the property allow access to 1st floor patio area allowing the back door and storage closet vulnerable to intruders.
8. Be prepared to hear everything that your neighbors do whether it is in the living area or bedroom, as the walls are as thin as rice paper.
9. Be prepared to come home to not having your assigned parking space, as management takes no control over where renters or visitors park.
10. It is cheaper to buy a home then pay Manchester Court rent, water, and garbage as your rent will continue to increase when your lease expires and they will continue to send you bills for hidden fees even after management tells you, you owe nothing when you return keys.
