I lived at Shadowbrook for 1 year and had zero problems...except with a drunk tenant late at night in the laundry room (but that's another story. I FULLY agree with the other reviews about the office staff. The times I did have to go there, Lisa obviously hated her job. She was never happy and seemed to be in a bad mood all the time. The other lady who works in there is just slow. Slooooooow. BUT, I loved my apartment. It was clean, and I had fairly quiet neighbors. When the occasional roudy neighbor did arrive home after last call, I'd just open my window and tell them I was trying to sleep. Problem solved. I called for paint towards the end of my stay...maintenance arrived 10 minutes later with a cup of paint AND told me where to find them if I needed more. Parking is great; 1 assigned and pleanty everywhere else (not well lit though). Laundry rooms have 5-6 washers and dryers. More often then not they were full (of coins) and not working. Then it became cut throat fighting for a machine...thus the fight in the laundry room. Security is a joke, but regardless, they are there and their presance is known. Better then no security. I've since moved to the bay area and miss this place. Shadowbrook is the CLEANEST apartment I have lived in. Carpets are kept super clean and replaced often. Kitchens and bathrooms could use some upgrading, but walk-in closets, open layouts and price make it ok. I had a 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor and paid $650. I now live in the bay, have a 2 bed 2 bath, raunchy carpets, windows that don't open, cracks in the walls, screens that fall off...I pay over $1500 a month. Oh Shadowbrook, where are you'
