When I went to look at the Fountains, they showed me a gorgeous model by a lovely pool and manicured grounds. It was a classic example of bait and switch, the place other than the leasing office, front pool area and model apartments is in total disrepair, brown grass and patios filled with such lovely objects as old refrigerators, dead tv's etc. The apartment we got overlooked the trash bins, which is nice if you are looking for used furniture as management dumps entire contents of apartments abandoned in the middle of the night. There were people that would rummage the trash for furniture,clothing and food all hours of the night. we lived above a 24 hour disco - management never intervened. . The place is dangerous, full of drug addicts and dealers. Apartments are often raided by the police. (nice for children) One unit actually had over 20 people living in it! The Swimming areas are cesspools used for bathing and worse after midnight!, the spas the same. One resident got a bacterial infection from using the swamp they call a pool. The pools stink to high heaven, the tennis court for soccer and barbecues. The whole place is like a waiting room for the Ventua County Jail. There is actually a hiding area by the tennis courts used by some tennants when the police patrol the area. The neighbors for the most part are loud and inconsiderate (most of them are on crystal meth it appears) . Recently a fire broke out in one of the garages and it took out 6 garages. Too bad as people have been caught living in the garages, wonder how much they charge for that' Management is a joke, not their fault, I am sure they are not trained by federal correctional officers which is what is needed. Security is a joke - I am sure that they are scared to be there too. Be warned - IT IS A DANGEROUS PLACE.
