parking is a total nightmare if you dont use you're garage, which is usually broken and you get fined hundreds of dollars if there's ANYTHING in it but a 4 wheeled vehicle. i can hear noise through the walls and on every side of me in the last year ive seen 34 people move out, and even the quietest ones are obnoxious. the grounds are poorly maintained and the pools are always cold, the gym leaking and broken or closed down. the safety is probably the scariest thing, though it's cleaned up since its recent rep, it's daily ill walk out to a father ignoring that his kids are jumping on my car and i see security MAYBE once every few weeks walking around, none of which speak english. every light on my side of the complex was broken for months and months and they just said they had to go through the rest of the complex and fix those ones first! heat, insulation, mold, are all common complaints that i see tons of people in the office for when i have to go down there for false charges on my rent that takes my hours to prove they fix and deal with inappropriate attitudes, only to receive no apology. the staff comes a close second to the poor safety. they neglect you're requests and ignore you're calls. they're deceitful and liars, and for whichever one of you posts some bs comment on here- this is all with the NEW management, yes. over in the last 30 years of preferring to live in apartments, this is the worst place i've ever lived. ever. i couldn't begin to describe the hypocrisy and the belittlement of the staff and how they treat you after you move in. please think twice before signing anything with them- my apartment was broken into and robbed after only 6 months of living here an after i reported it they did NOTHING.
and if you have a pet remember- $500 down payment, for starters.

I second the double charge experience. We have lived here three years and we have been double charged three times. Thanks God we FORCE the staff to sigh a receipt for rent paid EACH MONTH!!!. The latest in my case, since the Management LOST the information of my $500.00 pet deposit they are setting it as RENT with a late fee (totaly illegal.) They want me to PROVE that I payed it three years ago... I will take their behinds to court. We are leaving by the end of this month FINALLY OUT!!!!

I agree this place is just the worst. I've filed requests for maintenance & it takes them weeks before they'll get to them.

I agree this place is HORRIBLE! The charge you money for stuff they pull out of their butt! Their excuses are sooo stupid and make no sense. This place loses their records and so they just charge you again and say it's your fault. Then you have to go through a hassle about proving you have paid it already. We are in the process of taking them to court as well. When you move out they charge for normal wear and tear on the place and they shouldn't! These people are HORRIBLE and they need to be put out of business or someone else needs to take over there. It is ridiculous!

are they intrusive or do they tend to leave people alone usually? What should one look out for if they were looking into this apartment? I know two people that live there and say good things but am looking to move out of my horrible complex and get out of Oxnard.

I think these people have been non-payers, disrupstive residents and/or broke the ruls and are taking out the aggresion of thier misbehavior on the community. Again, people always say BAD things, but i lived here for so many years and LOVE it... the new management company is taking steps to improve which is outstanding!!! didnt your mothers teach you "if you dont have nothing nice to say...dont say it at all"" live by that...you will be a happier person...
