I've lived here at Vista Springs twice, the first time (in 05-06) was MUCH better. I lived in a one bedroom with my boyfriend, and we are downstairs, our upstairs neighbors have had housing patrol and cops both called on them multiple times, and nothing is ever done about it. They are loud and rude and management doesn't care. There are car break-ins constantly (the housing patrol told me this in person, because (since it's impossible to get cell service inside your apartment) we were sitting in MY car in MY spot and i had to give him my registration to prove it. He was really nice and told us to be careful because peoples' cars get broken into and there are regular foot persuits.

Since Cannon has started it's condo renovation b.s. they seem to not care at all about their tenants who were there before all that, and serve only the people renting the more expensive allegedly renovated apartments. (Which they did few things too, faux wood shutters, painted the crappy cabinets white and did new carpeting and apartment numbers.)

People constantly park in your spot and nothing is done about it, and on many nights you can smell various drugs, which is always nice.

Also, we gave notice 30 days before our lease was up and they lost it and I ended up having to pay almost $600 dollars for a month when i didn't even live there. It's ridiculous. The new employees are for the most part awful. They just don't seem to care at all, and overall you just start to HATE living there.

The one thing that is good about it is the maintenence. Those boys are great, very nice, prompt and efficient. Plus they know your name and ask you how you are when they see you, unlike upper management (especially the property manager, she's a down right b----, and if you unfortunately have to move in here you will soon find that out.)

Renter beware, try to look at all your options and only rent here if it is an impossibly LAST result.
