Don't do it unless you must.

I have been a resident here at the apartments for almost a year. My lease is up in one month and I could only have hoped and prayed that it could have come sooner. In the past, the apartment complex and community was good. My parents actually lived here about 12 years ago. Remembering how it was, I gladly moved in because of the affordable price. However, as time progressed, I began to notice everything change. Initially when we moved we had few problems, only annoying neighbors who are always outside smoking, forcing you to commit to small talk, ants of course but those are native to this area and difficult to get around unless you have a landlord who pays for pest control, gate always open and even when "locked" there are other ways of getting around it. It really is a false sense of security. Currently, as more and more tenants are moving in, there have been more drastic issues. Police pounding at our door at 2 in the morning looking for a suspect who they believed to be my husband until he proved otherwise by his ID, loud music from cars passing through the parking lot, drug deals at certain corners (yes, they are obvious), mail boxes that I personally witnessed being rampaged through by some young men (when I notified management they merely replied "oh yeah, that's been happening" - I received no notification of this by the way), and people smoking out by the pool (the pool is also questionable as it has an odd, oily ripple atop it), lastly an air conditioning unit that leaks about 2 gallons a day, apparently unrepairable as we've had maintenance here 4 times already, supposedly fixing it (we eventually got tired of having to take time off to be here so we now live with buckets of water that we empty two times a day). All in all, I would never move back. Affordable yes, but keep in mind the apartments are smaller, tiny little kitchens, tiny bathroom, too many problems. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
