I can't say it strong enough...

FAST.
place and Martin & Martin Management are awful. I don't even know where to begin:
-crappy old buildings. They are maintained well on the *outside*.
-no central air, and bad heating. You cook to death in the summer, and freeze your ass in the winter.
-the most unfriendly, unhelpful manager i've ever met.
-the gardening staff starts up the leaf blowers at 8am mon,wed,fri. So if you work late (like me) forget about being able to sleep.
-bad neighborhood. At least the parking is gated but i still wouldn't trust it.
-thin walls - can hear my neighbors TV, and the people upstairs stomping around.
-OLD appliances. My stove and fridge should have been in a museum somewhere.
-ANTS!!!! And i'm not talking one or two--- an infestation. Leave any food out on the counter and there will be a swarm when you come back. DISGUSTING.
-Security deposit' Forget about it - you'll never see that money again.
-expensive. Maybe they've dropped their prices, but i was paying a fortune for that dump.
(this is just off the top of my head. Give me a bit of time and i'm sure i could come up with much more)
If you can't find anywhere better --- you're not looking hard enough. I have a beautiful brand new place thats $300 less a month than i way paying in that place.
In 15 years or renting apartments the Ambassador Royal was a new low.......
