I really can't think of anything that is truly good about this place. The management sucks. Kay, the manager who lives there smokes and leaves her door open for others to smell. She is absolutely cold to anyone who isn't a new tenant. The same goes to Martin & Martin who manages the building complex. These people will do anything to get your money. They promised to lower the rent according to the real estate situation but they never did. Newer tenants will get the lower rent but existing tenants continue to pay the higher rent price. They are just unfair and unrealistic. The apartment across the street has the same size room for $950 and management is much nicer. Here, if you pay $1300 three years ago, you're stuck with that rate forever. Make your move elsewhere. Believe me its worser than it looks once you live here.
Other problems include old washer/dryers, leaf blowers during early morning hours, dust from the street, rats, ants, and worse of all you will never see your $1000 deposit ever again. They say they will charge $120 for cleaning the carpet, wall touch ups, and maintenance here and there. Turns out it totals $1000 for some reason and there's nothing you can do about it. All the bad reviews about this place are true. Stay as far away from Ambassador Royal as you can.
