I have already lived in Americana for almost 2 yrs. Here are something I want to share with all the people are trying to move in.
1st
Since I moved in, I have someone using my parking area I suppose to had. I was trying to ask for help from the apartment office. But no one wants to help. They always said "let me leave the message to manager, she will call you back within a week!" I called them every single week. The people either answer she is not here or the manager got a lot of stuff to take care that's right she didn't return your call yet. Oh... SHE GOT A LOT OF STUFF TO TAKE CARE.
2nd, One day, I had problem with my package from carries. I was trying to ask someone help me with my case from the apartment office. I spoke with one of manager, She really don't willing to open the Mail room for me to check my package. (Maybe this is my feeling, so you can just forget this facts) She just check the log book for the package, and said to me, "We don't have your package." At this time, I was trying to ask her more details about how does the carries usually deal with package. She didn't let me finish what I said, She said to me. "WE JUST DO YOU GUYS A FAVOR TO KEEP YOUR PACKAGE HERE. I HAVE A LOT OF THING TO DO." Does it sound right to you'' At this time, I am really disappointed what she said. Have you shopping at one of Computer Stores before' Those salesman has bad customer service. At least, those salesmen won't said "I HAVE A LOT OF THING TO DO."
Wherever you need apartment manager help you with something, They won't be here. Either they are not at the office today, or gone for the day at 4pm.
3rd, Finally, this apartment changed cable providers with Comcast. Even, I don't have account with Comcast, I still can watching 13 of FREE local channels. But I can't. I was stop at their office trying to get help from them. I got same answer as usual. "Oh, the manager handle this, she is not here." So, I spoke with the comcast people. They said I can talk to my apartment manager, she can help me with this. So, I went back to office to ask "THE MANAGER" was handle this. She gave me the phone no right away. She said "you can call this phone no I gave you, they know what should they do". SO, I called Comcast again, The lady said, we have no control with your TV Antenna in the building. Cause if you need our people come down to do it for you, you going to paid for that. Actually, your apartment manager can let their people do it for you." Well, if you go through all those thing, will you want to deal with "THE MANAGER" again'' I won't.
THe last thing I want to share with you guys was don't leave any message to the answer machine from office. They won't listen what you leave. And they won't return your call.
So, my opinion was IF YOU ARE BUSY PERSON, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TO MOVE IN. THEY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL VERY BAD. This is what I feel now.
