I never had a problem with safety or break-ins like some users. I didnt use the underground parking, but rather the lot right behind building one. I never had trouble finding a spot either. I did have many other small problems though, but put together they add up. First off each floor had one washer & dryer. They never seemed to wash my clothes, sometimes not even draining completly or going through the spin cycle. i had to either pay for another cycle or hand-wring all my clothes out. Also when the machines were broken there was no sign posted, you would find out after the charge was taken off your laundry card and the machine didnt turn on. Also, the machine to put money on your card was in the rental office, so it wasnt very conveinent. Another problem was the slow as molasses elevator, its quicker to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. But once you climb your way upstairs you can't beat the view...my apartment had 3 balconies, each one was overlooking a parking lot. The apartment was nice and peaceful when i first moved in, but later that week they started construction on the medical center so every monday through friday i would wake up to the sound of construction. My garbage disposal never worked right so i had poor drainage in my kitchen sink. There was also a problem getting hot water once or twice but they seemed to fix it pretty quick. There is a trash chute, which seemed like a good idea except the fact that the opening was not big enough to fit a kitchen sized trash bag through it if the bag was full. The best part of this whole place was the fact that they were very generous with the security deposit. My roommate and i had a party before we left and left the place a disaster, not something i usually do. There were stains on the carpet, a mess in the kitchen, we left anything we didnt want there(microwave, boxes...) and we only got charged $300 for cleaning. This apartment wasnt AWFUL, but it was nothin special. I wouldnt recommend it, there are much better places out there for 1400...
