After hearing all the complaints about deposits, is anyone interested in trying to sue them for money inappropriately taken from our deposits' I lived there for a month--without furniture or anything on the wall, and they took 255 off my deposit. -------------. if so email me at ylelkes@gmail.com

I can't participate in the class action lawsuit because I am still a resident. But I would urge you to do this. I did receive money from a class action lawsuit from another Mountain View complex I lived in, for the same reason (stolen deposit.) I received all of my deposit back about 4 years later due to a class action lawsuit filed by some of the previous residents. So yes, it does work.

After my move, I will get in touch with you. I've had several hints already of "coming attractions" of attempts that will be made to unfairly grab as much as they can of my security deposit. Class action lawsuits can be very effective, so keep on spreading the word! I also know several other residents who have moved and will check with them to see if they had any problems. If they have, I think they will be glad to participate.
