I didn't read the review before, but lot sounds very true, I liked the apartment paid my deposit but the leasing office is so unresponsive and so arrogant, there is no direct number to reach them, It always goes in the voice mail, after leaving 3 voice mails and 2 emails I haven't heard back. I am now literally frustated and would take my deposit back.
I think prometheus would have to pay more attention to their tenant needs and would have to recruit and train their staff accordingly otherwise it would be tough for them in this market.

I have to agree. Even if you leave voicemails, there is no concept of follow up unless you pay them 4 visits in person.

Thanks for your input. The problem is that Prometheus mgt at Americana DOES train their staff -- to behave exactly as you experienced. We have seen perfectly nice people hired in, only to change as their "training" by the property mgr and asst. property mgr continued. So, these leasing agents ARE following the Prometheus management's directions. The good ones see the light, manage to get jobs elsewhere, and leave. The ones who started off right, were then counseled to "get tough" with the residents, and were by then desperate enough for work to give in and be arrogant and rude, are the ones who last. Who can figure? You are wise to escape before the lease is signed. But hurry to ask for your security deposit back! By law, you only have 72 hrs to request it back, or they can and probably will keep it. Oh and by the way, they have only recently had a voicemail option. It used to be that their message advised you to just keep calling, because NO voicemail could be left!

are u people 4 reel??? Did u get told NO 4 some stupid request u made and now u have 2 rite ugly things about them? mgmnt is working hard to make difference and it is obvious with improvements made to trees and bushes and they smile when they see u. old mgmnt was never there. only sharon took care of things and she was old. pluming used 2 back up in garages of building every day. not now. if u r so pissed at this place, why don't u move?

So, how do you like working there...anonymous person who left your 'review' on 7/2? These people have a right to their opinions so bugger off.

i am thinking of moving in december.. i am not very concerened about the management.. as they are offereing a 1br for 1040 per month for a 12 month lease.. i am strictly concerend about the really good price as i cant find a good appartment as good as this for this price.. i did find one.. but i got to rub shoulders with middle and below middle class neighbours..... i love the look of the place but am really concerend if the management is that rude....i hope that this place is not as bad as a concentration camp. I guess most of them are pisssed off because they pay 1400-1700 rent and the treatment is sub par compared to other apartments that offer such upscale apartments.. so from the people above me.. is it ok to move in eventhough they are giving me a 1 br at 1040.. ???? any comments.. or recomndations
