Here are the reasons why..

1. Asking to much money for what you get in todays economy (or any time).
2. NO insulation with original 1968 windows makes for a very, very hot summer and a very cold winter. (Summer: No air conditioning in unit, inside temp would be about 8-10 deg. hotter than outside. Winter: When the heater turns off ALL the warm air disappears fast.)
3. The landlord/manager will promise to fix problems in your unit and will not do it without consent nagging. In fact... what does that man do except use the blower on the pine needles in the driveway. He's a cheapskate and toots his own horn way too much.
4. The stairs to the upstairs apartments are a law suit (my roommate and I fell numerous times... plus we heard our neighbors fall).
5. The neighborhood has gang activity with graffiti being an issue (although this apartment does not have gang members living in them).
6. Last BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT... There is an amendment to the lease agreement that states that if you live there under 1 year they can keep your whole deposit. 1-2 years they take 2/3, 2-3 years they take 1/3 and after 3 your okay. They WILL take the money REGARDLESS of how well you left the apartment. We left it in better shape than when we moved in and they still took 2/3 of our deposit. **Cleaning and blind cleaning they charge 100%. I have NEVER had an apartment complex take so much of ones deposit. Usually they only take for damages, not NORMAL wear and tear.
