I have lived in Oakwood Apartment (1-bedroom unfurnished) for 1 year.

Pros:

1. Professional service. When you report problems, maintainers usually fixed it on the same day. You many need to wait longer than 24 hours over weekend. The service people are nice, professional, and helpful.
2. Nice gym, tennis court, basketball court, pool (open 365 days), jacuzzi, and BBQ facilities. There are many BBQ facilities in different areas, so it is convenient to have BBQ parties.
3. Free breakfast, tennis class, and happy hour. The apartment provides free breakfast every morning, except Saturday. The foods are alright, but same every day. I have never taken the free tennis class, so I don't know whether it is good or not. There is happy hour on Thursday every other week.
4. Quiet. We never heard any noise from our neighbors. But my friends who live close to the pool area complained about late parties and noise at the pool.
5. Nice environment. There are many plants and flowers in the area. It is comfortable to walk in the area.
6. Nice location. It is in walk distance to Mountain View downtown, Caltrain station, and farmer's market.
7. Many parking spots. Parking is not a problem no matter how many cars you have.
8. Safe. I think it is safe area. My friends and I feel comfortable to walk around the area.

Cons:

1. Kitchen is old. The dishwasher, stove, and oven are old.
2. Not enough closet. There are 2.5 closets. For one person, maybe it is OK. But for a couple, that's not enough.
3. Mice. Today I saw two mice in my kitchen. I also saw some mouse faeces on top of my kitchen cabinet. I clean my kitchen right after cooking everyday. So I don't know why there are mice in my kitchen, and where they came from.
