Beware of Padded Move Out Costs

The management company has inflated or padded charges to my move out.
These costs are way over and above "normal wear and tear".
Renters are entitled to incur normal wear and tear.
Beware that they aren't just "nickle and diming" you when you move out.
They will tell outright lies and charge you top dollar to replace them.
We're talking BIG DOLLAR ITEMS! I don't want to say too many specifics at this time because my attorney is handling my dispute of their inflated charges.
I found this site in doing research on others who have had similiar problems with this management company.

I totally agree with you! I had the same experience- I saw it coming and videotaped my whole apartment and took pictures at move-out time so that I would have proof that the apartment needed nothing! There was never a final walkthrough done with me like promised in the lease agreement. The manager wanted to sign a paper that had been made up in front of me saying there was a walkthrough, but I saw through that too, and had the copy of the paper signed with another employees signature to prove that they were scamming us... I can't believe that this woman is still there!

Dear Zivots. Thanks for writing. You made my day. It is easy to feel that you are the only one having this God-Awful problem with the property "manager", --------------- and her gang. Can you post who you dealt with to get things resolved? Did you work with the KTS law office/collection co? Any actual tips you can share would be so helpful and greatly appreciated. Sorry to hear you were scammed. Best of luck to you in the future!
