So far, so good.

I have lived here four months. I have lived in other apartment complexes in Murrieta and this one is pretty good so far. I have not had my car broken into. I park in the garage 75% of the time. This place has nice landscaping, close to the 215, storage off the patio and good size garage for an apartment. A garage comes with the apartment. My garage has shelves and I really like this feature. I have not seen ants or pests. The staff is polite. Living in an apartment community is always a gamble. When you tour with the leasing consultant, it usually is never that peaceful when you move in. So far, Sonoma at Mapleton has been decent. They charge 15 dollars a month for cat rent. This is not bad compared to some places. There have been moments when teens play their music too loud at the pool. I should of said something to the office. Little things I have noticed: my dryer does not have a buzzer. This is great because my last apartment's dryer had a loud buzzer that would go off. (Little things like this can really bug me after a while) They have a nice kitchen design. The gas stove is not sharing a wall with the sink or fridge. (Better feng shui) There is also a pantry. My kitchen does not have that ugly office lighting. I hate office lighting. Crown molding in the living room and dining room. Lots of trash bins. This is great, because I used to live at a place where the trash bins were sometimes stuffed. They keep the trees and landscaping fresh. If I could change anything I would make the kitchen sinks deeper. They seem very small to me. Also Sonoma is 5 minutes from a grocery store and shops, but there is no sidewalk. The city of Murrieta needs to get on that.
Overall, not bad. Sometimes I hear people partying and drinking. There is a courtesy patrol and the Murrieta police drive through. I have lived in other apartment communities and so far I give Sonoma a "B" grade. If this changes I will revise my post.
