There can't be any insulation in these units, as our downstairs neighbor just informed me that she can hear us go to the bathroom, talk on the phone, etc. And even though we live above her, we can hear her child running through the apt., sounding like a herd of buffalo. We can also hear her talking, laughing, etc. The managment and office staff are very friendly, but I haven't had the opportunity to test them out as to their handling of serious matters. The parking is a joke. Everyone parks wherever they please, even when they know the space belongs to someone else, and the tow truck gets called all the time, or you will hear people honking constantly because someone is in their parking space. There is also A LOT of noise from partying until the wee hours of the morning. We have had to call security several times for people causing a disturbance partying outside on the lawn or out on their balcony. Also lots of noise from people who crank their stereos day and night. The apts. are all remodeled and look nice at a glance. The guys who remodeled them did a quick & crappy job (I personally observed them working on a unit), so once you look a little closer look you see the reality - CHEAP and SLOPPY! The guys made a huge mess on our stairs and in front of our door with sheet rock and never did clean it up, our stairs are still white! My husband had to sweep all the sheet rock up in front of our door after several days of dragging it in to our apt. on our shoes, and waiting for the workers to clean it up. Another example, they recently spray-painted our kitchen counter, it was white and they painted it gray, the gray is already chipping off, so we have white specks all over our kitchen counter, which looks horrible. Also, when they painted our bathroom, there is still paint splatter all over the fake wood floor. There is also paint splatter on our windows. Also, our carpet is shot, dirty, can't get the stains out. When we told management about this at move-in, they said that's just normal wear and tear. But it looks aweful, especially for a unit that was recently remodeled. The one thing I really do appreciate is the maintenance staff. Within 24 hours (usually much less) of reporting a problem, the maintenance staff is right there. Juan does an awesome job!
