They screw you out of your deposit!!

At frst we were very happy with the friendliness of the staff, though they did demanded a $600 deposit, even thought we didn't have any pets. We agreed because we needed a place and we knew we'd only be there 6 months and would be able to retrieve the majority of it by opting to clean the apt. ourselvesy. We cleaned it very thoroughly and painted, we didn't bother with the carpet because they specifically told us that they would either clean it for a small charge or if it was really bad, they would replace it for free. At the time our daughter was only 12 months old and would often spill her juice while sitting in her high chair in one place in the house...when the maintenance man went in he said he took one look at the area and said it was grease and they would have to re-carpet the entire apartment...at our cost! THEY ENDED UP CHARGING US OVER $800 FOR WHAT THEY ORIGINALLY SAID WOULD BE FREE! They could have saved themselves the work and the losing-of-face if they had simply knelt down to find out that the spots would have easily come out. I would not recommend this complex to anyone who wants to rent from an honest staff.
That was our main issue with Los Alamos though our car was also vandalized (someone carved swastikas into our windows) and another time broken into!
