Bad experience

When we moved out, notice was given well in advance. We vacated the apartment 2 weeks early and gave the office notice, as a courtesy so they would have more time to do whatever needed to be done. Everything was paid and we were given a receipt, however a couple months later we were sent to collections. The new management that had recently taken over must have mistaken our early move-out as a 2 week early end to our lease (which was not the case, we paid out the entire last month). They charged as if we were breaking our lease and never bothered to call or mail us a notification expaining that they thought we owed money. It took 3 different trips to the apartment complex and numerous calls to get this cleared up on their end. Then it was an additional challenge to get it cleared up with the collections company, since the management at Waterstone refused to contact collections to let them know that it was all a mistake on their part. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone, it was an overall bad experience.
