Our family lived at these Apts, formerly Mirabella, during which renovations, noise, parking problems, and college neighbors disrupted our homelife. It is not a good place to raise children. Also, we were forced to move from our apartment home of 6 years to another apartment, within 30 days. We were only given a small discount for our inconvenience on the new rent, not taking into account our rent was increased by making us have a Garage, which we did not want (as our former apt had only a car-port which was not with extra rent). In this move, we also lost the yard of a downstairs apt (we had two dogs and a child) and was forced to choose from 3 badly located upstairs apts). Also,we were forced to move at a time when the Mother of said family was pregnant and sick with pneumonia. Adding to this, our dogs are mini Dachshunds and had to be carried up and down the stairs that were too steep for them to climb; and the pregnant mother had great difficulty had great difficulty with this task of walking her dogs. There was no consideration at all that this was supposed to be a home for a family. Adding to this, they conastantly gave us one day's notice to move furniture such as sofas to check thermostats, replace filters etc. And on one such occasion, a maintenance man tresspassed into our home without any notice, or permission, in the early morning hours! This is not only bad business, but ILLEGAL!! When Mirabella was the Owner/Managemnet this was a normal place to live, yet when Hillcrest Park took over it became completely disruptive and chaotic.
P.S. Our upstairs room was so wobbly that if you walked across the living room the Tv would fall from it's table and the walls and tables would shake, b/c this ploace was so unsafe. All of our complaints went unheeded.
