Anyone looking to rent in this property PLEASE DO NOT. I read the bad reviews about this place and went against my bettter judgement and did, BIG MISTAKE. DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. Here is a summary of the problems,
1. Paid the deposit for the apt was scheduled to move in 1st April, TWO DAYS before move in I was told the apartment is not ready and this after changing my address with the Post office getting a rental truck, packing etc etc. Moved in later to an apt with higher rent in the same place, as I did not have a place to stay.
2. Maintenance is POOR and thats being complimentary. Big Mold problem was not taken care off, watch while walking u have a 9 in 10 chance of stepping in Pet Feces and the smell lets not talk about that. You have to pay for Water, sewer, trash, Power everything so add about $250 per month to your rent.
3. Biggest kick in the rear, They charged me $700 on move out $700 Can you believe that, after living in the apt for 6 Months and after leaving it spotless, they will charge you for PAINT CANS, PAINT, PAINT SUPPLIES, CLEANING, CARPET etc etc etc. You would think I left the apt like a pig sty to be charged $700 but here is another thing they had a pre move out walk through and the guy was all praises telling me I WILL ONLY be charged for carpet cleaning DON'T BELIEVE HIM little did I know and if you contest the charges they threaten to ruin your credit.
PLEASE do not move in if you need more convincing EMAIL ME I will let you know everything. BTW this was my fifth rental and has been BY FAR the worst EVER.
IF that wasn't enough reason to move out BTW after the first 6 months they were going to jack my rent to $2000 per month.

I apologize for not putting in an email,I had done that previously but was getting so many emails that I could not keep up with answering all of them so I had to take it down to avoid disappointing people.Well there are plenty of Apartments if you drive down Hillcrest Drive, I cannot and will not vouch for any of them b'coz I have not lived in them but I cannot imagine anything worse than this hell hole so my best advice is RESEARCH PLENTY before getting into a lease stroll around ask current tenants(they have the best knowhow) and look on websites such as these. As for me I filed a complaint with BBB against Hillcrest Park all I got was an apology which did a little in terms of reparations but I am still out a thousand bucks, and in case anyone thinks that this sort of behavior is common with all Apt complexes IT IS NOT!! I have found an apt in the valley and am truly happy the manager here is a sweetheart she responds to problems any time 24/7 and is an all round good person, I will be honest the apt is a little small (rent is of course cheaper) but I really don't mind as long as I have the peace of mind. As an ending note I would advise DO NOT take unwarranted abuse from these apt managers it has gotten out of hand, we as consumer have rights and are paying hard earned money for rent and deserve the same respect, GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY HUNTING!
