I have been a resistent at Hillcrest for eight months now. It looked beautiful the first time I saw the apartments and the management was friendly. Yet after a month of living there the problems started. I turned on the water in the bath and instead of fresh water coming out thousands of ants filled my bathtub. Ants also can out of the facuet by the thousands. I kill about four spiders a day. I also have noticed several spider bites on my legs and arms. I live on the bottom floor, the top neighbors sweep their leaves until my patio. The Neighbors across from me have the cops over every weekend. Another set of neighbors let their dogs run loose everyday around 5:00. There were several cars that got their tires slashed and windows broken into. Teenagers hang out my the pool area drinking, smoking and cussing (obviously under age). My newspaper gets stolen every Sunday. My friends can't ever find guest parking. Rent increased by 200 dollars after six months. Alarm never worked in the apartment. Water Pressure is really low. Toliet broke, only have one bathroom and it took three days to fix (that was not pleasant). Please read these reviews and think twice about these apartments. There are lots of really nice apartments in the area that don't have these problems, in fact I just signed a lease somewhere else.
