I just recently moved out of the complex due to a job transfer up North. I was living at Hillcrest for about 6 months and I really enjoyed living there. I did have a few minor maintenance issues..but I have lived in a lot of different apartments, and that is pretty standard for all of them. they were fixed within 2 days of me calling..which isn't too bad (Have you seen how many apartments they have to work with)'!' Parking could get bad, but that's because nobody seems to use their carports like they should... but I was in the back where there is lots of open spaces..so it wasn't a big concern for me. All in all, it really wasn't as bad as everyone is making it seem to be. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

You have got to be kidding. Perhaps you live in a vortex. I've met at least a dozen residents who have been threatened by the office, evicted for complaints, had their vehicles broken in to, etc. Your experience is truly unique. And, though there are two sides to every story, pick another complex where there is as much police activity in this area!

Evicted for complaints? Must have been something pretty substantial, they can't legally evict someone for a minor complaint...And if they did, goes to show you that they are at least trying to get the filth out.

I'm betting the above was written by the office. They are now offering the residents money to get new tenants. From what I heard, Amgen pulled all of their tenants out of here because it wasn't safe. That may or may not be true but it makes sense. Now the complex has an abundance of empty units and I fear a bad element will now move in. I've been warned by other residents, whose friends have moved out, that I'm (and everyone) is in for quite an ordeal when I get paroled out of here (that is, my lease is up and I move) in that they will attempt to keep my deposit for any little infraction. Oh well, I just look at it as if my rent was another $100.00 a month over my 19 month sentence, I mean lease.

It's hard to believe all these negative reviews when they are all anonymous. If everyone hates this complex so much, is there another complex you would recommend?
