They try to front as a nice family community. There is even a flyer that comes out monthly for the tenants. They do allow pets, but they are "supposed" to be on leases when outside. Yeah, right! Owners should clean up after them too. When I signed up, I gave the management team ample time (a month) to clean up the place prior to moving in, but obviously it was not enough. The cobwebs were into the walls and vents, window screens were missing, none of the floors had been swept or mopped, the fence was broken down, the backyard was overgrown and unkempt, the phone lines were not operational, and the list goes on! Basically, it was a freshly painted dump!! I tried to be patient about repairs and getting things done, but they work orders were constantly not processed or the staff or maintenance crew would have nasty attitudes. The kids in here are vandals and so are some of the adults. I had to get in one of their faces and tell him to spread the news about me going to nail them all and call the sheriff if they didn't leave my personal property alone. Fear has kept them away thus far. The manager said there was nothing they could do except remind all the parents. The thing that pushed me over the edge were the rats! First I was told it was the leaves fall through into the crawl space, even though the metal meshing was falling through bit by bit. Only after the rats watched us while we were in the bathroom and then one of them electricuted itself and its body was laying over the vent did they come get it. Between May and July, nine rats were caught. It only took that long because they sent the pest control guy with one trap and he did not return for a month and only after my constant calling!! The manager played stupid and alleged that her staff kept her out of the loop, yet I was speaking to her and her assistant manager every 2-3 days. They are only here to scoop you in and then forget about you. Needless to say, I sent them a demand letter at the beginning of August and they are allowing me to break my lease and I will be moving out very soon, but not soon enough. Just last week we caught another rat and I can hear them in the walls at night. This is the worst place I have ever lived and I have lived all over California. All I can say is that I am free at last.
