Let's just say I recently moved here from East Sac (unfamiliar with the area) my first week= kids running aimlessly throughout the pool area defecated in pool, pool shutdown, hot tubs broken, ant infestation all over kitchen/bath/bedroom=nasty!!!, no laundry room card available to use machines, entire neighborhood= ghetto/ unsafe. Management told me that the tenant has to pay for sewer and water and garbage AFTER I got a non refundable cashiers check for a deposit. Nice huh' I asked management to put me on a month to month because I felt unsafe, they said they would consider it, then after cashing my rent check they told me "no"! Essentially, they are money hungry sharks who care nothing about the happyiness of their tenants. Last night I came home to cops and guns drawn and a police helicopter... hookers are on the street corners and people living in trailers inside and outside of property. I regret ever coming here, and get sick to my stomach everynight when driving home. Please spare yourslef the grief!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the review. There are all kinds of people here, the doors slam so hard it shakes my apartment and scares my animal. Management has been told about it and suggests we contact security, who we never locate. We have talked to the neighbors who say they are going to keep quiet but still, at all hours of the day and night, they are loud, cursing and smoking weed. The shrubs around my area haven't been trimmed in the last few months, there's debris all over. The children park their scooters, bicycles on the gate which disables it constantly. There are shoes hanging along the power lines, labeling it a drug dealership. Management is friendly, yes, but these circumstances don't call for friendliness, they call for action!!, Firm Actions, such as eviction! If this type of element continues to occupy the premesis, there were be more of these negative reviews. This apartment complex has so much potential to be a family friendly, animal friendly environment, and while no place is perfect, the blatent disregard for others by some - cursing, running around threatening their apartment mates with bats, smoking marijuana, children running around begging strangers for candy and such far outweigh the wonderful potential that exists here. It is my opinion that once this element is erradicated, and the maintainence performed consistently, that reviews will be much more positive and will attract quality residents.

I have been living here now for over two and a half years and I feel that there has been some real change taken place. The maintenance has taken a 360 degree turn around. The apartments that I have seen them do for the new residents is awesome. I wish when I had moved in here my place looked as clean and well maintained. I do admit that there are kids that run around, however, at least they feel safe in their environment to do so. I do believe change is in effect, but sometimes we expect it to be overnight. Let's be REALISTIC! Are you one that sits back and complains or do you actually go to the management and express your concerns. Sometimes we need to be apart of the SOLUTION! It's not only the management's responsibility, but ours as well. It's Our Community! We are so quick to put the blame on someone else. I do believe that management is trying their hardest to clean up! It's easy for one to say to do this and that, until we walk in their shoes. I do agree that the shoes should be removed from the telephone wires. Let's be honest, I have had my bbq thrown away because I left it in my front porch area even when I was warned 3x about it. That tells me that management doesnt want our place to look cluttered or dirty. I've actually seen the maintenance throw away bikes, scooters, and bbq pits because they were in the hallways. The gates have been awesome since the summer time, they haven't been thrown off track. Please let's be REAL! At least when the power goes out in the neighborhood, on-site maintenance has been there to open the gates so everybody can get in and out. And we all know when that happens, In the middle of the midnight hour or later. Right away people want to point out the negative and forget about the positive. I like where I live right now, it's alot better then what it was! As long as I see positive change, and I voice my opinion to management so that I am heard, I will continue to live here! It is when they stop listening and I see all the Rift Raft moving back in, that is when I will move!!!
