I've been living here for a month now, I'm satisfied with my apartment so far. It has new paint, new appliances/kitchen sink, new carpet, new shower, hard wood (linoleum) flooring in the kitchen/bathroom. I love the closet because the closet I had before was extremely small. The only problems I've had so far are the random people parking in the extra parking spot I pay an extra $25 a month for. I get so pissed off. However, it's only happened twice in the past month and hasn't happened since the last time, thankfully. Another problem is the people living above us sound like they are bowling... I don't mind people walking from one end of their apartment to the other... but these people sound like they are running, bouncing, bowling, and just plain going crazy. It doesn't go on for hours though, when they do make noise its for about 30 minutes maybe once every 3-5 hours (so not TOO bad.)
I have never had to pay to do laundry in my life, so this was a first. I actually like doing 3 loads at a time because it's all done at the same time and I don't have to spend all day doing laundry. I've done laundry on 2 sundays this past month and each time I do, nobody is in there doing laundry but me. There are 2 laundry facilites on site I believe. The one I use has 8 washers and 8 dryers.
I walk by the gym probably 4 times a day and I rarely see somebody in there. It has new equipment (treadmill, elliptical, bike, and some weight machine like a bowflex in a way.) The pools look really clean whenever I pass by. The management seems on the ball so far. I thought I had a problem with my toilet so I wrote up a maintenence request and the lady had somebody to check it out pretty quick.
If you are considering living here and you don't mine dragging your stuff up a flight of stairs or two... I'd consider living up top. I only picked the bottom because I would hate to move all my stuff upstairs.
