I don't know how anyone can take the other reviews seriously considering they're obviously just bitter people looking for things to complain about. Villa del sol- as of now; I don't know about pre-2008- is pretty awesome. We have a couple of the loudest neighbors in the complex I'm sure, but when we're inside we hear nothing. Our cars are never messed with and there is ALWAYS parking. They are not run down at all- they've clearly been updated and look really awesome and our unit had a brand new fridge, stove/oven, and dishwasher. We never run out of hot water, there are NO bugs and the managers are ALWAYS here so I don't know why someone would complain about that. Their hours are monday-saturday 9-6 and they are here at those times always. If you have a problem and call the office, they respond. This is the nicest place I've lived so far and I really like it. I plan on staying a long time. We moved in on June 21st and are almost all set up. The unit is huge and has a lot of storage. My cat also loves it. So far I have no complaints. The water has been shut off once- for three hours and they gave a 24 hours notice so I don't see what the problem is. It's an old building so all the water has to be shut off if they need to work on something, it's really not uncommon or a big issue. They do have a lot of rules and they WILL enforce them- but they aren't unreasonable and it's a good thing they do. I'm personally glad they tow people without the permit and tell people to turn their music down and get the trash off their patios- it's a GOOD thing. Keeps it from being skanky and keeps unwanted people out.
