Safe neighborhood but so-so building management and board

I'm renting my unit in here. Incredible views and location. We have a few car break-ins but overall the neighborhood is safe. My impression of the management and board is poor. I can't get details too much for fear of retaliation and blacklisting, but it been my experience so far, and what I've heard, that the board and management doesn't make much of an effort to liaison with and cooperate with the residents and neighborhood associations in the surrounding neighborhood, even on matters of mutual interest. I'd never buy a place in this building for that reason alone
