I lived here for 5 exact years and lived with constant noise. First was the alcholic. Second was the VERY LOUD, "I am IN CONTROL of this FLOOR", "everyone HAS to listen to MY NOISE" ------- friend of the manger.

The ------- manager caters to her friends who are loud, rude, immoral and the list goes on.

It took 3 years for the so-called owner to repair my patio which when it rained, the water came rushing into my front room. It soaked my carpet. I had to sand bag the patio to be safe. It took months to have my bedroom patio door repair as the wind came it. I even ended up in the hospital for three days because of lack of action. (Getting sick) The wood shingles on the side of the building were burnt and they did nothing about it.

I encourage anyone to look elsewhere. There are many GREAT places around the Lakeshore area, but this is NOT one of them. You will NOT be happy here. I even had friends of all races that came and visited and they too said
"what is the wrong with your neighbor upstairs'"

There will always be problems here until the manager is fired and some of her friends are evicted.

I hired an attorney and went all avenues to find help. In June, 2003, I took my case to the Alameda County Small Claims Court. If I would have showed the judge that I became sick and stressed by this manager and her loud friend, I would have won. I should have hired an attorney and took it to a civil court and would have won thousands easily. The judge stated to me, the owner and the so-called manager, that I should have not lived in those conditions whatsoever for five years. She also stated that I have the right to sue the LOUD neighbor that caused all of these problems.

Lets say, I won a moral victory in court as the judge was on my side. Then again, I am letting this negative energy be in my past.
