I've live here for almost nine years, and I have to admit that service has gone down hill over the years. When I first moved in there was staffing at the front desk 24/7. A security/front desk staff who made round the clock grounds checks. Then it went down to 8am to 10pm. Now the front office closes at 6pm, just about the time when the majority of those who work are getting home from their 9-5s', which also means that they open as we are leaving in the morining. So, if you have a package at the front desk you have to wait until Saturday before you can get it, and even then the office might be closed. On Sunday's the office is now closed. There is a fully equipted community room, which we are not allowed to use for b-day parties, baby showers, etc. They say their insurance doesn't cover that, yet there use to be an exercise class in there for two years on Saturday mornings...Their insurance covers that' The elevators are constantly broken, maintanence is slow and rude, and usually have to make one or two return trips to properly fix things in the units. The laundry rooms use to be kept some what clean, now they may not mop, or clean off the washing machines from spilled liquid detergant/bleach for weeks at a time. The rent continues to increase on a yearly basis, yet the sevice has definitely declined.

When the building holds community meetings for the residents to bring up questions, etc. The meetings are always held in the middle of the day, when the majority of the residents are still at work. ...They use to hold these meetings at 7pm...they should go back to that.

The only good thing about it is the location. It is close to everything, public transportation, BART, grocery stores, schools, parks, freeway entrances. And, your kids can safely (for the most part) play in the gated court yard. It also has a swimming pool, and exercise equiptment.
