The apartments were well maintained inside and the staff responded to requests within 24 hours.
- However, mold collected on windows because of moisture and the staff deemed it the tenants responsibility. When you asked them to check the windows, the response was "That?s just what happens".
- When you move in check EVERYTHING. They charged me to clean blinds that were dusty when I moved in. On the move-in sheet, they ask about condition, not how clean they are. They ran their fingers up and down the blinds to see how dusty they were and said they were dirty even though I had just wiped them down. Make sure the walk through is done with you there. If they wait until after you have left, naturally dust particles are going to settle and they are going to charge a ridiculous amount. In addition, they don?t allow you to shampoo the carpets. They charge you regardless of whether the carpet is clean or not. Beware of all the hidden charges upon move out. They do whatever they can to keep your security deposit. Even charge you a prorated amount for to paint the walls, when that is usually covered in normal wear and tear.
- The grounds were manicured nicely, but trash in the parking lot would be left for days.
- Ants are a constant problem. The staff does NOTHING to alleviate it.
The length of time I stayed was relatively pleasant, but they definitely left a bad impression during the move out. With that alone, I wouldn?t suggest this complex.
